“Every outcome or circumstance can be turned into a gift and opportunity.”
Sometimes, depending on the situation, we find it difficult to think of something bad as a learning opportunity, causing us to always think the worst. And that's why Ricardo Kazuo, VP of Marketing and Internal Coach at SAP, brought up the topic of Positive Intelligence in our last meetup.

The 2nd ESG Talks of 2022 brought initiatives with an environmental, economic, but mainly social impact.
Our hostess, Natura, brought the socio-environmental repositioning case of her perfume brand Kaiak, Plastic Bank showed how it is to generate income for people in extremely vulnerable situations with recycling and Albert Einstein Hospital presented how it is possible to fully upcycle hospital fabrics.
In this first ESG Talk, we focused on the positive impact on the environment and society. We had insightful discussions. We started sharing a prototype built by members of the Brazilian chapter who decided to design an app to increase business volume with suppliers engaged in sustainable practices since most companies are committed to positively impacting society and the environment, but not always its suppliers follow this path.
When we founded the community in March 2019, we didn't know exactly how far it would go, but when the pandemic arrived in mid-April 2020, the expectation was that we would not be able to go much further. However, the numbers show a very different reality. In a year which the protagonism, collaboration and adaptability to change spoke louder, Design at Business delivered great results that will now be shared with you.

During our last global virtual Design at Business meetup on November 12th we discussed these and other questions with more than 40 like-minded innovation experts who joined us from different regions and countries across the globe like Europe, North America, Israel, India, Brazil and others.
This story has started in 2017. A director attended a design thinking course at Stanford and decided to share the lessons learned with his team, having no idea how and where they could apply it. Suddenly, arose the opportunity to put it into practice in the Talent Recruitment area.
